Saatchi and Saatchi

Having worked with Mattessons earlier in the year in providing equipment for their headquarters to enable staff to play some games in their reception for an extended rental period it was a nice surprise when Saatchi and Saatchi reached out to us and asked us if we could create a fun gaming zone within their headquarters in London as a conclusion to the competition they had been running alongside a big advertising campaign for Mattessons.

 

We set to work with a team of 3 during the build and 4 on the day to create the desired fun space and by using a variety of camouflage netting and multiple consoles and screens along with a quite a few wireless battery powered LED lighting units, turned the normal office meeting room into an ideal gaming zone for the competition winners to meet and play with Ali A with some team fun multiplayer action using Call of Duty Advanced Warfare and shared with some less frantic Minecraft.

 

We also supplied an alternative gaming station and more lighting to help illuminate F.R.H.A.N.K who was by all accounts the world first artificially intelligent robot to have been co-created by a social community and eager to meet the competition winners.

 

The space proved a huge hit with the winners of the competition advertising campaign and got quite a few hours of constant use with players tagging in and out while taking on Ali A throughout the day.

 

Despite the challenges of multi user accounts and LAN gaming we were able to work with the in house team at Saatchi and Saatchi and provide a trouble free experience that was shared by everyone during our time together and after all the pictures were taken and more gifts handed out it is fair to say that the experience will live with those that were there for many years to come.
